My name is Eva Janů, I live in the Czech Republic. I have a MSc. degree in Geography, so maps have always

been a part of my life. Cartography was the part of my studies that I enjoyed most. I have always enjoyed

fascinating stories from human history; the stories of wars, love, courage and curiosity told by ancient maps.

Moreover, I believe, old maps are also works of art. One day I wanted to purchase a reproduction of an antique

map I came across during my travels, but it was impossible to find a web shop that would offer this map restored

and printed on authentic material. This is how the idea for my business was born.

I opened my vintage map shop in June 2017 with an aim to offer authentic products for everyone who loves

maps, travelling and history. Since the opening, I have sold maps to the following countries: Australia, Bosnia

and Hercegovina, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Malta, the Netherlands, Singapore, Sweden,

United Kingdom, and the United States. Yes, my map prints now hang on three different continents and I am

positive many more countries will be added yet!
